With notable performances with Josh Groban, Gary Willis, Jamie Glaser, Polo Ortí, Carl Allen, and Phil Kuehn, Matthew Struthers brings over two decades of experience to the table in both a creative, and technical capacity. This also includes recordings and collaborations with Ellis Hall, Patrice Rushen, Tony Dickenson, film credits with Morgan Cooper Productions, and a TEDx talk in Valencia, Spain.
Having obtained a Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) from Berklee College of Music, (Valencia Spain campus) Matthew has had a variety of positions in academia, including positions at Bethel University as department head of Music Technology, The Gifted Music School, and adjunct instructor of Music Technology and Jazz Piano at Snow College.
In a post production capacity, Matthew has worked on over 200 albums for the Warner Chappell Production Music Catalog, for various labels such as Audio Active Music, Non-Stop Producer Series, Anarchy Music, and Elbroar to name a few. Included are a few self releases in the catalog as composer and producer for Neon Sun, InfoBeats, featuring Tony Dickenson, and Ethereal Piano.
Matthew’s most recent collaborations include a single Set Me Free, featuring The Ambassador of Soul and a protege of Ray Charles: Ellis Hall. Mastered by the renowned engineer Steve Hall. Diving into the film industry, Matthew has had the wonderful opportunity to work as a composer with producer Susan Morgan Cooper on various documentaries, To the Moon and Back, Fatal Distraction, and I Can’t Give You Anything But Love: The Jimmy McHugh Story
